This is course
is required prior to applying for your Conceal & Carry Permit. This
course has two parts - a classroom session, held at the ZK Guns classroom
and a range session, held at Green Valley Range.
One-day courses beginning
at 8
a.m. Plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to the
start of course as the class will begin promptly at the time specified.
Classes may occasionally run longer than allotted due to gun malfunctions,
special instructions, etc
Private classes are given for groups of 6 or
more.

What To Bring
First and foremost, you will need to be prepared for a full
day of activity. You do not want to travel all night or "party until the bars
close" and plan on attending this class the next day. You should dress
appropriately for outdoor weather and bring shatterproof shooting glasses and
earmuffs. A cap is recommended, but not required. You may want to bring rain
gear as the range section of the course is run rain or shine.
You will need to bring two guns, a semi-automatic handgun and
a revolver. You will need a minimum of 75 rounds of ammunition for each weapon,
for a minimum of 150 rounds total. (If you don't have one or both types of
weapons, you can use one or both from us; just call in advance to make
arrangements.)
When you come to the classroom (first section of the course),
DO NOT bring the weapon in with you. Do not bring a loaded weapon into the
classroom or onto the firing range. Keep the ammunition separate. You will be
told by a range officer when to load. That is the only time you will have a
loaded weapon. Violation of any safety rules will be grounds for immediate
expulsion from the class.
COURSE FEE
The course fee is $90.00, which includes the course manual,
course certificate and sheriff's form (affidavit). Light breakfast is provided.
Lunch is on your own. Ammunition is provided by the student and not included in
the cost, but may be available on site. If you use ZK Guns weapons you are
required to purchase the ammunition from ZK Guns.

If you would like a course taught at your location, we are
prepared to bring a course to you. You need to have a safe range area, a room
available for the classroom instruction, and a minimum of approximately 8 people
to take the course
Private or semi-private training can also be arranged to suit
your schedule.
